伝統的な華道用の鋏で、古流型と持ち手の端をわらびのように丸めた池の坊型があります。
刃の角度を鋭角にすることで、断面の繊維を潰さずに切れることが出来、水の吸い上げが良く、活けた花を永く楽しむことができます。
